We know the challenges of owning horses, from spiraling costs to ever more onerous regulation. PaddockPal was set up to solve one part of that - a lack of information. The handwritten nature of the equestrian world, and the rural economy in general, is part of its charm but also an obstacle. Where can I find what I need to look after my horses, what does it cost, and what should it cost? Furthermore, who am I buying from, and entrusting my horse with?
PaddockPal sets out to solve these problems by providing an marketplace for all your equestrian needs. No more knocking on farmers' doors to find grazing, or hoping to find the right group on Facebook to advertise your spare stable. PaddockPal brings the convenience and transparency of a digital commons to our beloved countryside.

Steve Daniels
CEO & Co-Founder
Steve Daniels began his career as a cavalryman in the British Army, where he developed strong leadership skills as a Tank Commander and Gunnery Instructor. Following his military service, he moved into technology and cybersecurity, co-founding Bleach Cyber as Head of Product & Technology. There, he led efforts to design cybersecurity solutions tailored for SMEs and startups, contributing to the company’s recognition as a Techstars 2023 Alumni.
Inspired by his daughter’s interest in riding, Steve co-founded PaddockPal, a digital platform to connect horse owners with equestrian facilities. With an MSc in Organizational Resilience, he brings strategic insight and a commitment to community-building to PaddockPal’s mission of enriching the equestrian landscape.
George Stephens
COO & Co-Founder
George Stephens grew up in an equestrian family in Lincolnshire, where his childhood was filled with hunting and Pony Club activities. After continuing his passion for equestrianism through polo during his time as an Army officer, he transitioned into finance, joining Goldman Sachs where he specialised in derivatives sales-trading. His subsequent career has spanned investment management, software development, and entrepreneurship.
As co-founder and COO of PaddockPal, George combines his understanding of the equestrian world with his expertise in building and scaling digital platforms. His understading of data-science & machine learning makes him ideally suited to drive PaddockPal's mission of digitizing the rural economy. His military background, coupled with his track record of successful digital innovation in traditional sectors, positions him to lead PaddockPal's operational execution and strategic growth.
